We’re proud to host Prism, an alternative education provider working within The Bolton Woods Centre. Prism offers a supportive and structured environment for children and young people who face challenges in mainstream education – whether due to behavioural difficulties, emotional needs, or school exclusions.

With a focus on building confidence, resilience, and life skills, Prism helps students re-engage with learning in a way that works for them. Their experienced team provides tailored education and pastoral support in a safe, understanding space where every young person is given the opportunity to thrive.

We’re pleased to provide space at The Bolton Woods Centre for Rainbow Dementia Care, who run a warm and welcoming day care service for individuals living with dementia.
Operating independently within our building, Rainbow Dementia Care offers a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment designed to enhance wellbeing and quality of life. This is a paid service, delivered by experienced staff who specialise in dementia care.

Stay and Play Group
Our Stay & Play group is a relaxed, welcoming space for parents, carers, and little ones to play, learn, and connect. Aimed at children aged 0–5, the sessions are packed with fun activities, toys, and crafts to support early development in a friendly, community setting.
It’s also a great opportunity for adults to meet others, share experiences, and enjoy a cuppa while the kids explore and have fun!

Allstar Youth Music
We’re proud to host Allstars Youth Music right here at The Bolton Woods Centre, where they run inspiring DJ and music production workshops for young people – all from our very own on-site music studio, which Allstars rent and bring to life with energy and creativity.
These hands-on sessions are perfect for anyone aged 11+ who’s interested in music, whether you're just starting out or looking to develop your skills. Learn how to mix tracks, produce beats, and create your own music in a supportive and inclusive environment, guided by experienced professionals.
It’s a great way to build confidence, express yourself, and be part of a positive creative community.

Youth Cycling Sessions
Get active, build confidence, and have fun on two wheels! Our Youth Cycling Sessions take place every other Tuesday at The Bolton Woods Centre and are open to young people of all abilities.
These sessions are all about enjoying cycling in a safe, supportive environment – whether you're learning the basics or improving your skills. Bikes and helmets are provided if needed, and the sessions are led by experienced, friendly instructors.

The Bridge Project
We’re proud to welcome The Bridge Project to The Bolton Woods Centre, where they deliver an important support programme called Concerning Others.

This project is designed specifically for family members, partners, and friends of someone who is struggling with drug or alcohol use. It offers a safe and understanding space to explore your experiences, learn practical coping strategies, and receive emotional support from professionals and others who truly understand.
You don’t have to go through it alone – support is here for you too.

We are proud to host a Dementia Support Project aimed at promoting dignity, independence, and social inclusion for individuals living with dementia, as well as providing valuable support for their carers. This initiative focuses on reducing the stigma surrounding dementia and creating a more inclusive, supportive environment for all involved.
The project offers a range of fun and engaging activities co-designed with our community group to maintain independence, combat loneliness, and improve wellbeing. Activities are tailored to the needs of both individuals living with dementia and their caregivers, helping to foster a sense of connection and understanding.

Parkside School
In partnership with Allstar and Parkside School, we offer a Break Away Day designed to support young people who are struggling at school. This special day gives up to 5 young individuals the chance to step away from the pressures of the classroom and engage in creative, hands-on activities that promote personal growth, wellbeing, and confidence.

Throughout the day, students will participate in a mix of Creative Arts, Music Production, and Physical Education (PE) sessions. These activities are designed to inspire creativity, encourage self-expression, and improve mental and physical health in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

It’s all about giving these young people the opportunity to thrive in a new space and discover new talents, away from the stress of their usual school routine.
