Beewell Connected CIC

Empowering Youth, Brightening Communities

Beewell Connect CIC is a community-driven organisation focused on creating positive change for the youth and families in the BD2 and BD18 areas. Established in 2022, our mission is to support, advise, and uplift individuals, particularly those facing challenges, including poverty. We are committed to bringing people together and providing valuable opportunities to foster a stronger and more resilient community.

We work closely with The Bolton Woods Centre, offering a wide range of activities designed to engage individuals of all ages. Our programs include:

  • Youth Empowerment Initiatives: We run specialised sessions such as the Youth Zen Den, a safe space for relaxation and mental well-being, and a Youth Boxing Group, focusing on discipline, fitness, and confidence-building.

  • Family-Oriented Programs: We host Let's Eat Together, a community meal initiative aimed at fostering connection and support for families.

  • Over-50s Group: A welcoming space for older members of the community to connect, participate in activities, and enjoy social interaction.

Our company director, Joanne Watts, brings over 20 years of experience working in the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) and is deeply committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. Joanne’s dedication ensures that every individual has access to the best possible experiences and support.

By creating inclusive spaces, offering empowering activities, and providing valuable resources, we strive to give back to the communities of BD2 and BD18, making them stronger and more connected.
